What is a boosted server?
A Server that has been configured to run at high performance and that has the specs to support the increasing of the internal clock rate. This creates more Frames per Second, while also allowing for a higher tick rate in the process.
Why is a boosted server better?
Because we reduce the sleep times, we reduce the internal latency, also increasing the amount of calculations the game server makes. This increases server performance and client registry.
Why does V2 only offer boosted servers?
We only offer boosted servers for 3 main reasons. 1) We feel that the games we offer should all be played on boosted servers, because it makes the games more enjoyable. 2) Boosted servers take up more resources, and by only offering boosted servers we can better manage our resources to ensure that our Game servers are the best on the net.
3) We wanted to offer a truly premium service that the professional gaming community needs, and the professional gamer needs to play on boosted servers.

What is a Mod Switch?
This is where you can switch the type of game your server runs. For example if you rent a Dod:S server you can buy the Source Mod Switch and it will allow you to switch from Dod:S to CS:S. This enables people to own only one server but host two games on it. Multiple levels Half life Mod Switch’s are available.
How do I use my Mod Switch?
Once you logged into your Cpanel you will see a running server of a certain game, and a stopped server of a certain game. To switch from your current game to a different one, stop the one that is running currently and wait a moment, then start the other.
What kind of program do i need to upload to my Ftp?
Their are many Ftp programs open to the public to use, however we recommend that you use FileZilla, not only because it is free, but it is also open source, and a extremely easy yet powerful program to learn how to use. You can find the download link to the program FileZilla on our download page.
